Cleere’s Open Trad Session Details

Featuring a weekly changing lineup, the open session night at Cleere’s Bar & Theatre on Parliament Street is one of the few weekly traditional Irish music sessions that welcomes all-comers to the corner of the front bar, with the average weekly turnout yielding 8-10 musicians, playing from 9.30pm onwards.

The Wednesday night session is in contrast to their long-running Monday night session in that the core focus is on the tune. There won’t be any poetry readings, no story telling, nothing but honest-to-goodness traditional Irish music.
